The academic goal I would like to achieve this year is getting a 3.8 GPA for my sophomore year. A few ways I can achieve this is to do all my homework, study all my tests/quizzes, and most important to stop being lazy. The challenges I will face trying to accomplish this goal is I could become very gregarious and not want to do any of the work I receive. However, if I strive for accuracy and listen and understand with empathy I no I can reach my goal. This goal is extremely important to me because I want to go to a good university and be successful and by succeeding in school and passing my classes it will allow me to do whatever I want to pursue.
The personal goal I have set for myself is to get closer to my religion and closer to god. I grew up learning about Christianity and growing up in a religious family so this is
something very close to me and something very important. A few ways I can achieve this is start reading the bible, join my youth group, and pray more and give thanks to god and what he has done. This goal can be very difficult because learning about Christ can either be very insipid or very rewarding. If I focus on my goal and not get lazy I can reach it. S if I manage my
impulses and remain open to continuous learning I can accomplish my goal. This goal is especially important to me because god means the world to me and he comes before all else in my life.
My long term goal Is to get a very suspenseful high paying job that allows me to make lots of money. Some ways to achieve this is to focus on high school and to get good grades and also graduate college because just going to college and graduating gives me a huge number of opportunities. If I keep the right mindset and remain very docile I will achieve this goal. Although, I may face struggles like the goal could become extraneous . Also I could want to be bacchanalian at times but I just need to focus on my future and never forget what that goal is. As long as I remain open to continuous learning and my impulses anything is possible. This goal is very important to me because it means a lot to be successful in life. I never want to have to worry about going bankrupt or loosing a house because those things are very scary so I have to remember to not let sight of my goal.
In conclusion, goals are so important to have because if you dont have goals they just become faded memories that probably wont happen. My three goals are get a 3.8 GPA for my sophomore year, become closer to my religion, and to have a high paid
suspenseful job. All these goals have something in common, they all are something I will achieve because I have plans to achieve them and I no what I need to do to achieve them. Everybody has to have a set of goals so they have control of there futures.
