The first thing question we ask ourselves is, what is political correctness and why does it matter? When we tell the reality, we are truthful. When we do not tell the reality, as it would be politically intolerable to acknowledge considering it, we are politically correct. (http://www. lnat. ac. uk/preparation/reading2. html) Today, it looks like a person should think twice about what he should be saying before he actually goes out of the way and say it.

Take for instance; if someone says Africans are more likely to build up tough intense muscles as compared to Chinese it can echo racism to some when in reality it is an accolade to the Africans. Being politically correct would be to say both Blacks and Chinese have the potential to develop strong dense muscles. http://www. bordeglobal. com/foruminv/index. php? showtopic=10711&st=0) That is why I would say Politically correct is more an expression of exploitation. Political correctness is rationally fraudulent. We can say it varies from the conventional system of self-censorship.

When there was no,political correctness at that time also the masses knew deep down that it is morally wrong to hurt somebodys feelings. Then also there were intricate systems of etiquettes that concerned a definite amount of fraudulence to do without a persons inner feelings. A number of facts were not being vocalized freely like in friendship or elsewhere. But I believe one cannot place this in the political correctness frame. As the denial to articulate distasteful facts depended on the era and the place and the circumstances.

Once the people concerned were out of the picture one could make a clean breast of their viewpoints. But, talking about political correctness a person cannot divulge with his judgments. A person would go on denying even to his own being. One would call this rational duplicity. This is the reason as to why the political correctness is important as it intensifies the duplicity. Instead of accepting distasteful realities and not speaking of them, one will hypothetically advance several steps and will not consider it important in the initial step only.

If we look at it analytically, if we look at it historically, we quickly find out exactly what it is. Political Correctness is cultural Marxism. It is Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms. It is an effort that goes back not to the 1960s and the hippies and the peace movement, but back to World War I. If we compare the basic tenets of Political Correctness with classical Marxism the parallels are very obvious. (www. academia. org/lectures/lind1. html) Uncertainly, it is trying to make all and sundry the same; with greater reason it is trying to guard anyones fragile susceptibility.

The gesture of being politically correct is almost like trying to be a politician. A major ingredient of a politicians work is to be associated with all groups and offend no one in their pursuit to rein supremacy to do the various part of their work. Political correctness is broadly used in commerce, at present, an administrator cannot affront group of people that they work with or they wont be administrating for long. Generally to mount the steps, a person cannot be rude to too many or they drop down the steps very easily.

As likely there are a lot many reasons to dislike the few boundaries that political correctness has crossed, for so many people can easily get hurt by it; it wont be wrong to say that with present assorted work services it almost becomes a prerequisite to uphold some point of political correctness in lives. Theres no denying for there is political correctness but surely, there is an increase in discrimination, not in favor of minorities and the defenseless, thriving internationally. The common man has not become slightly cultured, rather he is falling into lawlessness and the world is becoming even more violent.

There is a real world. Its not all-social construction. Yesterday, the World Trade Centers twin towers were really there in New York. You could see them on the skyline. Today, they are gone, really gone. And some thousands of people who yesterday were alive and going about their business just as we are nowtoday they are dead, really dead, burned up or squashed. Its not a matter of point of view. Its a fact. http://www. safs. ca/academicfreedom/westhues. html) We have examples from Media that are plentiful of those people who drifted from the politically correct dogma.

Ben and Jerry-Vermont ice cream makers, well known for their aid to tropical rain forest preservation, were lately uncovered for their politically incorrect practice of bribing their dispenser not to hold opponents goods, and for upholding appalling working surroundings that they effectively hid under the generally mindful propaganda in anticipation of their employees who openly criticized. In Hollywood, AIDS activists come to blows with actors who began wearing red ribbons to demonstrate unity for people with AIDS.

The protesters disputed on that ribbons neutralized the significance of the subject, letting-up people into thinking they were combating AIDS when in reality their movement only sustained businesses making money from ribbon enamel pins, mugs, and tattoos. Actors concerned with the AIDS resistance, but for those who stayed un-ribboned, accounted intimidation and persecution”for not following the politically correct situation. We know the basics of ethics; is the action legal? Does it fulfill our values? If you do it, will you feel bad? How will it look in the newspapers?

If you know it is wrong, dont do it! If you are not sure about anything, dont hesitate to ask. (http://www. leaderu. com/orgs/probe/docs/pcethics. html#text3) Isnt liberty the highest political end? No, there has to be some kind of virtue as liberty cant be the only conclusion of mankind. Virtue has its roots in religion. Lord Actons efforts illustrate that no civilization was justly liberated devoid of religion. Experts have to be knowledgeable to recognize the ethical significance of their dealings and the part religion and education play in endorsing restraint.

Finally, concluding this thesis I would say that there are times when things need to be presented the way they are seen, instead of going into explanations for them. Fact of the matter is that at times things are a definite way, or we do a definite thing or we dont do it, merely for what we are. Thats presently the way it is sometimes, no matter what or who we are.
